I have a canon MFC743cdw printer and theLCD touch screen on the printer is not responding. I can see the menu etc but cant select any options. Questions:
1) Is there a way to fix this 2) How can I factory reset the printer or access the full menu remotely via the network. I can access the remote UI in "General User" mode but not in "Syatem admin" mode. I do not remember changing the system admin password and tried the default "7654321" but that does not work.
Unplug the MF743Cdw from the wall outlet. Please try connecting the printer to a different outlet in the room / different room. Try turning on the printer with the power button.
