Scanning more than one document in one session.

Hi,

Got my Canon 220 Lide today.

Say i want to scan 5 A4 documents.

I open IJ Scan Utility and select "Document".

Once it has scanned, it asks if i want to "Exit" or scan another document by selecting "Scan". Ive got more documents to scan so i select scan.

After repeating this for my 5 documents i hit exit.

It opens My Image Garden HOWEVER only the first item i scanned is there (and only that item is in my chosen destination folder)

What am i doing wrong? Where are my other items! Any time i search for help online it thinks im referring to scanning multiple items at once.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Are you sure the five documents didn't get scanned into one file?

I just checked and you are right! Thank you! All documents are in 1 PDF.

So is there anyway so scan multiple documents (to separate files!)  in one session or would i just have to click "Exit" (after each scan) then start the document scanning process again?

Thanks again!

I think there is an option in setup to scan multiple items into one or separate documents.

Aftrer scanning your document do you have the choice to save the scanned document? At the bottom of the "Save"  or "Save As" dialog is it saving as a PDF by default? If so you should have the option to save in another file format like JPEG or TIFF. That should save each of your scans as a seperate file.
