I have a DR-6030C that according to the customer made a different noise than usual upon powering on in the morning. After that it appears that every time a document is scanned, the document is taken and scanned by the scanner but the data is never sent to the computer and whatever app you are using to scan the document goes to a "not responding state".
I have taken the scanner for testing and am able to reproduce the issue on a different computer with a different USB and Power cable. I noticed that if I unplug the USB or Power cable after a scan the program used for scanning becomes responsive again and displays the scanned document without issue. Of course it's not practical to disconnect the power/usb cable after every scan so I was curious if anyone else has encountered this issue or if you have suggestions? Thank you.
