Scanner is direct USB conection to MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6
Scanner suddenly (about a week ago) stopped responding to scan button on unit or Scan or Scan more pages from within Capture on Touch. No operating system changes before/after not working.
I reinstalled the latest driver. No change. Scanner icon in menu bar is dark (active) AND Select Scanner shows the 225 selected but scanner non-responsive to either unit scan button or through ImageCapture.
Any clues? (yes, I've done restarts after installing the new driver.)
Canon's site is down due to the hack/ransomware issue - so here I am.
(now scanner icon in menu bar is grayed out)
