I ordered the @Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens International Version@ for my camera on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XKSBMQA?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title It fits according to the description, but it does not connect to my camera. I want to return the lens or buy an adapter, if there is one. Best regards, Aleksandr

As the name implies, the "Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens" has an EF lens mount. The EOS R 100, however, has an RF lens mount, as do all the R series cameras. That is a completely different lens mount, which is why the lens doesn't fit. In general, when buying a lens for a camera, you need to know your lens mount.
BTW when you say "It fits according to the description", I don't see anything in that listing which says that it will fit on an R-series camera. The camera brand by itself doesn't help, as all the camera manufacturers have multiple lens mounts.
Fortunately, in this case, there is an adapter. I haven't played with this myself, but this should allow any EF or EF-S lens to work on your camera.
Various manufacturers make such adapters, but I know a lot of people will recommend the official Canon one as being more likely to work well. So this is what you're looking for:

I am very grateful for this answer! I am ready to clarify. Since I live in Israel and bought the camera in Israel, I am not able to order the adapter using the link provided. However, I looked on this topic in Amazon the list of adapters and found a huge range of prices! I am surprised that the price of the adapter almost matches the cost of the lens itself! Please advise which adapter is optimal for my case? And my case is participation in ZOOM streams. This lens was recommended to me to improve the quality of the stream, since we get a portrait image. I am ready to pay for an expensive adapter if the image in ZOOM will focus automatically

Yeah, sadly, these adapters are expensive. You might consider returning the lens -- if you can -- and getting an RF lens.
As for which adapter to get, if you go that route, as I said, I have no experience of these myself. But I can pass on what I've heard others say, which is that the official Canon adapter -- the one I linked to -- seems to work best. You should be able to buy this online somewhere; the link I posted is to Canon's site, not a shop. Whether you are streaming, or what software you're using, makes no difference at all. The lens's autofocus should work through the adapter.
Bear in mind that a lens adapter is just an empty tube, that holds your lens the correct distance from the camera. There are no optics in it at all, so it won't affect image quality. You can have issues with things like autofocus, as this depends on how well the lens's firmware works with the camera. But in general it seems like EF lenses should work reasonably well on RF cameras.
As for the lens, again I have no experience with that lens, but it seems appropriate. I think it is is going to be pretty tight if you're like a meter from the camera, but maybe that's what you want for a zoom call.

That's right - I was advised to be a meter away from the camera or one and a half meters. I understand that the adapter does not contain optical elements. I used the opportunity to order a non-original adapter through "Amazon Prime" at half the price of the original adapter. In the hope that it would cope with its function. At first, I began to issue a return of the lens, but now I think that the versatility of using the camera with different lenses is more important than returning the lens and ordering another one. Thanks for the advice! I will definitely write a review when I receive the ordered adapter! Aleksandr from Israel/

Great, I hope that works out!

Do you mean third party or other Canon EF lenses? Canon has many RF lenses you can choose from that don't need an adapter.

That's right, I meant other Canon lenses. This is my first experience. I bought the camera primarily for Zoom conferences to ensure high quality broadcasts. The camera was equipped with one lens. Later, I received advice from the "AI" on how to improve the image without resorting to software. It was an advice to use a lens with a focal length of 50 mm. That is, if I am in front of the camera at a distance of 1-1.5 m, then we get a blurred background without resorting to software filters. I found that there is an offer on the Amazon marketplace for an inexpensive original lens, but I did not immediately realize that it may not be suitable for my camera.

Hello, Aleksandr!
It may be too late for you to rethink this, but be forewarned:
Frankly, the only reason to buy an EF>RF adapter is if you have other EF mount lenses you want to use on your R10 RF mount camera, but if you have to due to budget, I strongly advise against buying any brand adapter other than Canon. Materials and workmanship of anything else is inferior, hence the low price. This forum has many accounts of off brand adapters and other accessories failing for no good reason.
"This lens was recommended to me to improve the quality of the stream"
Probably by someone using an EF mount DSLR rather than a mirrorless (MILC) like your R10. I will add that "AI" is not reliable for camera/lens advice. There are too many variables for a non human entity to account for so it will be generic advice or information at best. Your best option, if you really want/need the 50mm focal length, is the RF 50mm f/1.8. Personally, to achieve a 50mm look, I would suggest the RF 35mm f/1.8 for a cropped sensor camera (APS-C) like the R10. Further, an adapted EF lens will not fully utilize all that the R10 has to offer. Will it work? Absolutely! But they will not work as efficiently as a native RF lens. This may or may not effect your video, but as mentioned, native RF lenses will give the best your R10 has to offer.
