I ordered the @Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens International Version@ for my camera on Amazon. It fits according to the description, but it does not connect to my camera. I want to return the lens or buy an adapter, if there is one. Best regards, Aleksandr

he lens that was offered in Israel was very expensive. I noticed that the same lens, but as it turned out with a different mount on Amazon costs $ 130. And its name had the word "international version". I counted the reviews and the lights were mostly positive. But I did not notice that it had a different mount. Here I received advice and support, as well as a suggestion to focus on the original adapter. However, it is expensive, and in Israel the cost of goods over $ 70 is subject to duties. Therefore, I purchased an adapter for $ 53 and with free shipping through Amazon Prime. It's like a lottery. If I'm unlucky, I have the right to return the item. There is no Canon representative office in Israel! We do not have Canon software for broadcasts! This service only works in the USA. However, I found a HDMI to USB 3 video stream converter in Israel that meets the broadcasting requirements and got an excellent result "CAM LINK"

Wow,Ai actually got something right?? 😄
Yes that lens will work well to get the blurred background. In case you don't already know,be sure to set the lens aperture to it's smallest number - f1.8 (you set this on the camera)
Now that you have the EF adapter you have more choice of lenses🙂.That may be useful in future

Thanks a lot for the advice to use the smallest aperture value that is set on the camera. I hope that the electronic components of the adapter will correctly transmit commands to the lens so that the aperture changes as necessary.

Let me address the management of this resource! I am still waiting to receive the adapter and cannot announce the solution to my problem. However, I receive letters from the resource, where I am asked to confirm what solution was found. I will gladly describe the result when I receive the adapter and conduct tests.

I am happy to confirm that this adapter fits the lens perfectly. We can see how much more light flows through the new lens than through the lens that came with the camera.
