EF 50mm lens does not connect to my EOS R100, please advise an adapter.

I ordered the @Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens International Version@ for my camera on Amazon. It fits according to the description, but it does not connect to my camera. I want to return the lens or buy an adapter, if there is one. Best regards, Aleksandr

Therefore, I purchased an adapter for $ 53 and with free shipping through Amazon Prime. It's like a lottery. If I'm unlucky, I have the right to return the item. There is no Canon representative office in Israel! We do not have Canon software for broadcasts! This service only works in the USA. However, I found a HDMI to USB 3 video stream converter in Israel that meets the broadcasting requirements and got an excellent result "CAM LINK"

Yes that lens will work well to get the blurred background. In case you don't already know,be sure to set the lens aperture to it's smallest number - f1.8 (you set this on the camera)

Now that you have the EF adapter you have more choice of lenses🙂.That may be useful in future

I am happy to confirm that this adapter fits the lens perfectly. We can see how much more light flows through the new lens than through the lens that came with the camera.
