This Pileated woodpecker just couldn't figure out how the other woodpecker got in that car. These were taken in the late evening sun at just over 250' on my neighbors car across the street.

I installed last night and have given it a good workout with no issues. The big draw is added ability to control servo zoom with EOSU and CC, if you have that gear, which I don't. It did speed up my camera coming out of sleep mode, and I'll take that...

Honestly, due to the way I shoot macro (my subjects), I've never thought about FOV. Typically, I start at MFD or in the case of hand holding, as close as I can get.
