I have a new Eos rebel T7. Not sure built in flash works…. Can I reset factory settings?

Actually found the hot show cover was engaging switch. Removed and all ok for now

Is the camera in manual mode?
To reset your settings, bring up the third wrench menu (right-most of the wrench menus), scroll down to "Clear settings" and select it. You'll have a choice of what to clear including the ability to clear all camera settings.
See page 194 of the User Manual for details.

Hello gestewart65 are you sure the built in flash doesn't work. On certain Rebel series cameras you must manually pop up the flash even in Full Auto mode. In order to pop up the flash you must push the flash button that is located behind the main dial.
