Hi.
Really need help with my issue.
I connected with my camera to the wifi (EOS Utility mode). Router lists this device as connected. But EOS Utility not showing this device in list so I can't connect Camera to PC.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I solved my issue by enabling network discovery in
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings

First, turn off wifi and connect via USB. Is the camera recognized by EOS Utility 3?

USB cable wasn't in package, I'll try to buy it separately, but it can take some time 🙂

You should have had a cable included in the Canon package. Did it have a software disc? Warranty card?

Mine stopped working recently as well. Are you on Windows 10?

Yes, but I am using a USB cable. Make sure your camera is in Wi-Fi mode. It cannot switch between USB and Wi-Fi on its' own.

I am a fairly savvy tech person. The camera is certainly in WiFi mode, there is no way to force it in to pairing mode otherwise. You have to connect to a wireless network first, then pair. The pairing is where EOS Utility fails. It just sits there looking for the camera and never finds it.
This all worked great until the latest Windows 10 Update.

My 80D also did not come with a usb cable I just bought the body, battery.
Now for your wifi hook up after you get your camera ready to pare with your phone open up your wifi on your phone leave the wifi screen open then hit on your camera the phone icon you should see your phone pare up with the camera.

I am not pairing it with my phone. I am pairing it with a Windows 10 laptop. I've tested two of them, and both of the fail in the same way, and both worked less than a week ago.
