Lens adapter question.

 Can I adapt a Canon EF70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM ...and a Nikon D40X body? If so, what adapter? Thanks, Tony

Color Filters

I was wondering is someone could tell me what you would use a pink, purple, brown and grey colored filter for?I know what red, orange, yellow, green and blue are primarily used for but I can't find anything that tells me about these four.
