MX 922 copies light though prints ok

This problem is recent and I see occurs on other models as well. It had been copying ok. Cartridges show as ok. No problems with printing directly from computor

My MX 410 inserts 2nd page partially, then signals a jam. Every time.

It almost seems as if the definition of page size has gone wrong. Every second page stops part way in; when I press OK, the paper slides out (blank) and after a long wait, the next page is printed.
