Why would a cannon IP3500 Series Printer not be installed after several uses over a period of months

All of a sudden today after printing one item,  it tells me I need install a printer on my computer in order to print.  What happen does any one know?  What do I have to do?

When I loaded the driver for my Canon Selphy 640 on Windows 7, it won't go into printers.

It goes into "other devices" and I can't find my printer when I go to print a picture.  Any advice?

We just bought the Canon Pixma MG2100 Multipurpose Printer. We are only wanting to use the copier and not have it attached to a computer, which works great but is there a way to darken the copies on the printer itself??

Have Faxphone L80. Set for fax/tel but automatically goes to fax when voice call received. Does not discriminate. There are other extensions on line. Does this make a difference. How to fix? Thank you.

Can't add new printer pixma mx892 to iMac osx 10.7. Downloaded drivers from apple, installed and got install successfulmsg. When trying to "add new printer" on iMac msg says get driver from apple >>> i've done this three times!!  What do I do now>

The ink cartridges in this printer are apparently different from my old one.  Pulling down the tab at the end of the cartridge does not cause it to open.  What is the secret? Frances Jessup, RN, BSN.
