CanoScan 9000F Mark II - Why do I get different results from AutoScan vs using IJ Scan Utility?

When I use AutoScan my old B&W photos scan normally.  When I use IJ Scan Utility they are much darker, like a negative.  Settings appear to be the same . . .

my canon mp280 repeatedly gives a low in message and wont print

my printer repeated gives a low ink message and wont print. i put new ink in yesterday and the error came again today.  I put new ink again today and it did not clear at all.  At £20 a cartridge this is crazy. I am using canon pg 510 and 511.

When a fax is transmitted when using a Pixma MAX 452 will there be a report same as when an error TX is reported. It shows on the screen the fax was transmitted I was just curious if there suppose to be a report.

Cannon imageFORMULA DR-C125 scanner won't scan set amount of pages.

When I try to scan multiple pages, the scanner won't scan the set amount. When I try to scan 5, it only scans 3, for example.If I want the scanner to scan 8 pages, it only scans 4. Anyone know what's going on with this?
