My MX892 tells me there is no paper in the feeder, when there is paper in the feeder. Fix??

i have a Canon copier I just purchased last month.  it has been operating just fine until today.  Today it is telling methere is no paper in the paper feeder when paper is loaded in the feeder.  Help??
