How do I get the MX892 printer to use the large black ink cartridge?

I have the MX892. I can't figure out how to get it to use the large black ink cartridge. Hence, the small black cartridge runs out often since all I print is black and white. Any ideas? Thanks, KB

Problems with a PIXMA MG2220

I bought a pixma mg2220 and I want to use on my computer HP ENVY17, Win 8 (64). But is not recognize.I try different forms to install but I could not be installed

Canon MG2220 won't connect to PC

My computer either completely ignores the USB connection, or tells me it's not supported/recognized. I tried reinstalling the driver, but it wouldn't work as it required a connection to the printer.
