MG2120 scanning PDF

I have a canon MG2120 and when I scan a photo it makes it a PDF file and I cant open them. It wont let me do anything with the photos. Can not open,save to fb or anything. Was wondering if there was a way to download as a JPG or to convert the files....

scanning 127 format slides
