I have ordered a Pixma TS8220. The documentation states that the XXL cartridge produces 6X the prints.
The specs state that the Standard cartridge contains 5.6 oz and the XXL contains size is 11.7 oz.
How can 6x be possible??

Greetings,
Good question.
Manufacturers use things like:
Duty Cycle
The number of pages a printer can output in a month
Page Yield
The number of printer pages you can get from a ink or toner cardtridge
% of Coverage
An established standard of measure all printer manufacturers use to rate page yield. This is based on 5% coverage.
Where it can get tricky.
Graphic intense prints use more than 5% coverage per page, so this can decreases the overlall page yield, and number of pages a cartridge is rated for.
Hope this helps.
