Pixma G3270 - IPad intermittently says printer is offline

JBK1

Printer shows full WiFi signal. When attempting to print from either iPhone or iPad, it will sometimes work without any difficulty whereas other times it will say the printer is offline. Both iPad and iPhone software are up to date (iOs17.3.1).

Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem?

I have the same issue.  I've also seen several others who do too.  Any resolutions of this problem yet?

Unfortunately, the problem continues.

Hi,

You can try disabling the IPV6 setting on the printer to resolve the printer offline messages that sometimes appear. Please use the steps below:

  1. From the home screen on the printer press the down arrow and select OK on Settings.
  2. Press OK on LAN settings.
  3. Press OK on WiFi.
  4. Press the down arrow and select OK on Advanced.
  5. Press the down arrow and select OK on TCP/IP Settings.
  6. Select IPV6 and Press OK and when Yes or No appears, select Yes and OK.
  7. Select Enable/Disable and press OK, then highlight Disable and press OK.

After it processes, click the home icon on the printer to leave the settings menu and try to print again.

Thanks. This process, disabling IPV6, didn’t work for my Pixma MX492.  Neither iPad or iPhone can find the printer. Any other thoughts?

This did not work.
I had to reconnect the printer to our router, which was successful. However, now my iPhone and iPad cannot find the printer. I have followed the set up instructions three times without success.
