Enrolling in the subscription likely changed the printer’s account or ink-service status, but the “offline” message is usually a Wi‑Fi or computer-printer connection problem, not a failed subscription.

Troubleshooting Your Canon PIXMA TR4722

If your Canon PIXMA TR4722 has stopped printing and shows as offline after enrolling in the Print Subscription Plan, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Check Connections

  • Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. If the connection is weak or lost, it can cause the printer to go offline.
  • Cables: If using a wired connection, check that all USB cables are securely connected. Try different ports if necessary.

Printer Settings

  • Default Printer: Make sure your PIXMA TR4722 is set as the default printer on your computer. This can prevent it from being recognized as online.
  • Printer Offline Mode: Check if the "Use Printer Offline" mode is enabled. If it is, disable this setting to allow your computer to communicate with the printer.

Restart Devices

  • Power Cycle: Turn off your printer, unplug it, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can refresh the printer's connection.
  • Restart Computer: Close any open programs and restart your computer to ensure all settings are refreshed.

Additional Checks

  • Error Messages: Look for any error messages or blinking lights on the printer that may indicate issues like low ink or paper jams.
  • Print Queue: Check the print queue on your computer to see if there are any stalled print jobs that need to be cleared.
