DocFig

Just got a Pixma TR8620a and have same problem with power cord.  If I look at it the wrong way, it falls out.  Incredibly poor product design by Canon.

Same problem here with an MG3600. Incredibly loose connection, falls out every time I move the printer even a fraction - is there something like an additional sleeve or silicone support that would make it not fall out please, or can someone invent one?

I have the same problem with my TR8650a. Were you able to get help.

Hello!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know more information.

What is the exact model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit)?

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

Thanks and have a great day!

TR8620a. The power cord falls out of the receptacle on the back of the printer at the drop of a hat. This is the second printer of this model I have owned and the same thing happens on both. I guess I should have learned my lesson and bought something else

Thank you Arthur, but when I go to that link and try to register my product it says my serial # is not right. But it is. This is very frustrating.

Hi lizscher,

Please turn your PIXMA TR8620a on and then from the Home screen, please tap the info.jpg icon in the lower right hand corner of your printer's display.

In the menu that appears, please tap "System information".

The serial number of your PIXMA TR8620a will be listed on the third line from the top.

If that is the serial number that you had tried previously, please reply to my post with the 4 letters at the beginning of your printer's serial number.
