PIXMA iX6820 - Not Printing on A7 Envelopes

Hello!

Ive tried absolutely everything to print addresses on the flap and backside of an A7 envelope. The envelopes size is 5.25 inches height, and 7.25 inches width (yes, I measured).

I have correctly loaded the paper in the feeder facing the right direction with the flap on the left hand side per canon instructions. I have also set the settings on my computer exactly to the right size as mentioned above. 

When I click print, the envelopes go straight through with nothing on them and error code 2100 pops up stating printer setting size does not match loaded printer size. Again, I have ensured these both match.

I have tried everything and have researched for hours! Any advice here would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hi Tdorfner,

If you create a custom size using plain paper instead of envelope, does the issue persist?

If so, what version of Windows are you using?
If you are using a Mac, what version of the macOS is installed?

What program on your computer are you using to print your envelope?

Hi Patrick,

I tried printing on a custom size with a piece of paper in the printer and it did not work, stating printer settings and paper must match.

The peculiar thing here is that I did mirrored the exact same print settings on a small ASUS laptop I have here with me and it worked fine. There was no change in how the envelopes were placed in the printer, and the exact same custom size in was used in the print settings, so I know those two things are correct. Which narrows it down to the operation system.

I am trying to print on an iMac, the 5k late 2019 model. Currently running macOS sequoia version 15.5. If you are familiar with this software in any way and what can be done to print the envelopes using my desktop it would be greatly appreciated!
