Colours in PIXMA G7020 not working Error 5200 but ink wells are full

Hi I need help I have a printer thats only a year old (in Australia) Canon G7020.

I just ran a nozzle check and it wont print cyan or magenta (blue&pink) its barely printing yellow.

Ive tried to clean it many times, ive filled the ink wells and every time i try do a deep clean it gives me error code 5200 but that means the ink wells are low and they arent.

Ive plugged it out for 10 mins, Ive reconnected to wifi, Ive reset the ink levels - im stumped - its only a new printer why is it not working I dont use it all the time

Did you ever get an help with this. I have battled this printer for 2 ears, it is not reliable.  It gives ink level errors all the time when the ink tanks are full.

Just as a follow-up and added info....  I have hit this apparent same problem.  3 year old G7020 with all ink tanks at least half full.  Magenta does not print at all, occasionally yellow switches off, then next test, back on.  Normal clean does nothing to help, deep clean fails with code 5200.  Have tried the power off/on and such.  With the "all or nothing" nature of the problem, I doubt that cleaning would help anyway.  Does anyone have a procedure for removing (and possibly cleaning contacts) the print-head?

Actually, when I tried to do a flush, I just got an immediate 5200 error.

Despite the tanks all showing at least half full, I went ahead and added some ink to the Magenta tank (that  was the one that stopped printing).  Now, I could do a Flush and afterwards, all colors were printing.   Either the level "detectors" in the ink tanks are not reading correctly, or the visible ink in the tanks are very misleading.

I have a Canon Pixma G7020 purchased in 2020.  The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago: The Magenta and Yellow colors would no longer print.

Here is what worked for me under the same situation (getting error code 5200 when trying the Deep Clean).

1. Fill all of the ink tanks to the top line.

2. Under the setup menus there is an option to Reset the ink level counter:   https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART175839

5. Now you can run the deep clean function.  https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART175592

After that I did the nozzle check and all colors are now printing.
