PIXMA G6020 won't print color

moontime

Hi ~ My canon G6000 won't print color.  Ive done cleanings and trying to do a print flush, it keeps telling me I don't have enough ink but the ink wells are filled to the top.  I have tried to change the print level counter, and it seems to work, it just goes back to the menu so I assume it re-set but still having this issue.

I can see that the ink tubes are not filled with ink, just black which is working and the yellow and red are half full, nothing in the blue tube,

Thanks for joining the conversation, moontime!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA G6000 series.  The model number should appear on the front of the printer just above the yellow ink tank window. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Sorry it's a G6020

It won't print color; black prints fine.  When I try to do the ink flush, it says I don't have enough ink but all the ink is completely full, and I can see none of the color ink are filling the tubes that go to the ink head.

Hi moontime,

When you attempt to perform an ink flush and the message appears, does a Support Code appear as well?

If so, what code appears?

If there is no code, please make sure you are selecting "Yes" to the questions by pressing the left arrow.  Please follow these steps:

1.  Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G6020 one time.

2.  Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press OK.

3.  Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Ink Flush and then press the OK button.

4.  Choose All Colors and press OK.

5.  Check the displayed message and press the OK button.

6.  Use the left arrow to select Yes and then press the OK button.

7.  Use the left arrow again to select Yes and press OK.

Does the ink flush commence or do you get a Support Code?
