Hello. I have a Maxify MB5160 printer that was working well before we moved house. I've just turned it back on (it's been out of action for many months) and put new ink cartridges in it, but the black is printing inconsistently. The colours appear fine. I've conducted several cleans of the printer heads (including two deep cleans), a head alignment and clean of the roller and bottom plate. I've also checked that the right driver installed. Does anyone have any ideas on where to go from here? I've just spent $160 on new ink and really don't want to throw this all into landfill!
When I've taken the black ink out to see if it's installed properly etc, it leaks a lot of ink. Does that indicate a particular problem?
Thank you.
