Canon MX920 all in one Defaults to FAX rather than printing

my Canon mx920 All in one printer.  Wireless setup.  

Does not print.

Defaults tp FAX rather than printing.

I have deleted and reinstalled the printer several times.

I wonder if it's because the Descrfiption says it's a FAX.  Does not include the word PRINTER.

Tried to change the description but no luck.

I have updated the printer drivers.  I do not see any more updates I need to do.

WHAT IS WRONG??  PLEASE HEL!!

What version of Windows is installed on your computer?

If you are using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?
