My brand new Megatank G3290 series printer will not print vivid colors. It just prints faded red colors. I have done every maintenance test/cleaning/alignment listed under the maintenance section. I think I got a faulty printer. I purchased it in May and only printed a handful of things before it stopped working. I bought it off Amazon brand new so maybe Amazon did me dirty. I need help because that is lot of money lost for something I just bought. Thank you.

Try running a deep cleaning. If that does not help run an ink flush. It takes a lot of ink so make sure your tanks are at least half full

That sounds frustrating, especially for a nearly new printer. Before assuming it’s faulty, try checking the ink tank levels and run a deep cleaning/nozzle check if your model has that option, because faded reds are often caused by a clogged cyan or magenta nozzle. If the printer was fine initially and failed after only a few prints, Also contact Canon support, your warranty should cover a defective unit regardless of where it was purchased. Amazon should also have options if the return/warranty window is still available.

You bought it in May. When was the last time you used it to print?
