cannot detect device message when I try to upload video. I tried using 3 different usb cables.

The 3 different usb cables I used all seem to fit the ports, but the camcorder is just not read.  I just downloaded all the software to make sure I had that.  Do I have to buy another usb cable?  They are out of stock on this canon site. thanks

Mini DV camcorder will not longer load cassettes - keeps rejecting them. Any ideas?

Camcorder has not been dropped and there is no sign of damage.  All of a sudden it no longer lets me load a cassette - have tried a half dozen different tapes.  Model is ZR850.  Has anyone else experienced (and solved) this?
