Better Scanning Software for the G7020

Is there better document scanning software for the G7020?  I find the IJScan software too cumbersome and it doesn't have the ability to automatic duplex scans.

G7020 is printing 81/2 by 11 documents using Envelopes

My G7020 is printing on the envelopes in the rear tray.  We have automatic select for paper source and paper size is set properly.  Why is it choosing the rear tray instead of the cassette.
