Dual controller to trigger two camcorders simultaneously

Hello all,

I work for a school in South Texas and I am the videographer for the football team.  We utilize two canon cameras - the Vixia HD G50 and Vixia HD G70....I am looking for a controller that would allow me to press the record button at the same time.  I have seen other schools with a setup similar and was wondering if Canon puts out something that would handle this.

Through Canon support we can only recommend products and services made directly through Canon. Through Canon we don't make any remotes that would be able to control the VIXIA HF G50 and VIXIA HF G70 at the same time.

Being able to control multiple cameras at the same time is a feature more typically seen on our professional grade camcorders. Camcorders like the XF400 and XF405 can be connected to a network through an Ethernet cable and then you could control both cameras at the same time on one computer through that network connection.
