A great egret observes its surroundings while perched in a tree. The raw file was processed in Digital Photo Professional. Paint Shop Pro was used to adjust the tonal range, contol the chromatic aberrations, and to adjust the sharpness of the image. A local tone adjustment layer and a second curves layer were used to give the image an HDR effect.

Some of the last few photos my G 9 took. It's had a lot of use & will be replaced by another because it gets the job done with the housing & strobes I already have. It died early on this years dive trip. Photos were shot in RAW, converted using ACR and the Eagle Ray photos were re processed in PS.

My wife just took this in the yard (near LyonsBobcat2.jpg, Colorado). She used her brand new SX60HS at 1365mm telephoto.

Here is one I took last week - a cormorant caught a trout.

Canon 5DSR; Canon 600mm f/4; @600mm; f/4; 1/2000; ISO 160.  It was pretty far away, requiring almost 50% crop so the quality wasn't as good as it can get...
