My ImageFormula RS40 'cannot find driver. Confirm whether it was installed properly'

My RS40 had been working fine.  When the Windows 11 came out recently, it stopped but I found the answer with that Citrix setting and it worked fine once more.  THEN, last night I loaded an update for the RS40.  Now whenever I try to scan something from within the program I get the error above.

I am running Windows 11 version 24h2 on a Dell 64bit system.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted but no luck yet.  Thoughts?  THANKS!

Okay, I got it figured out.  After multiple uninstalls and reinstalls, and running the configuration tool several times, I did a couple of things (my change management wasn't good so no way to tell what made the difference.  I first went through steps to find what the name of a driver for the RS40 was.  Then got THAT registered.  THEN, I worked on determining why the scanner wasn't visible in the select scanner screen.  Finally determined I needed a new TWAIN driver.  I had ASSUMED that would be in the larger RS40 version 4 service pack, but apparently it wasn't.  I downloaded JUST that driver and registered it.  THEN I downloaded the latest Windows 11 service pack.  Rebooted and was able to select the scanner.  It works now.

To add some context, I FINALLY got the RS40 to be 'running properly' in Device manager, but still get this message above.  OF NOTE...when I open up the 'Select Scanner' screen no scanners are listed.  Help please!
