Issues with Scanning Quality on Canon ImageFORMULA Scanner – Any Solutions?

SiteElroy

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using the Canon Image FORMULA scanner for a while now, and I’ve noticed that the scanning quality has started to deteriorate recently. The scans are coming out blurry or with noticeable lines, especially when scanning documents with small text or fine details. I’ve already tried cleaning the glass and checked the settings, but the issue persists.

I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems with this model, or if there’s something I might be overlooking in the settings or maintenance process? Are there any recommended troubleshooting steps or tips to improve the quality of the scans?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Image Formula Scanner is a line encompassing a lot of models. How old is yours? Sounds like the transport mechanism isn't feeding smoothly. You'd have to talk to Canon about whether it is fixable and feasible.
