imageFORMULA DR-G2140 with permanent high-pitched tone

Since 3 month we are scanning with several Canon machines of type imageFORMULA DR-G2140. We have noticed a permanent annoying high-pitched tone during the scan process from the fan area. Does someone have the same experience or know what to do?

A technician was here, changed a fan but the tone stayed. He offered no solution.

i have to correct me: The technician changed the power supply not the fan.

The technician said he found the cause of the noise: the main motor

He will replace it as soon as the spare part arrives.
