How do I connect my R40 to Mac OSX Tahoe 26.0.1?

My computer does not recognize the device, there are no drivers for this????  Did i get ripped off by Cannon?  How do I make it work?  Otherwise it is a Cannon brick.

Danny, Is there no other way to get this answered other than having to be put through your call center?  I tried today and could not get a human in a reasonable time.

Please try downloading/installing the scanner driver from the link below: 

https://soft.canon-elec.co.jp/ims/r40/en/

If the issue persists, we will have to recommend that you call our Enterprise & Desktop Solutions Divisions at 1-800-423-2366, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST (excluding holidays).

Hi, I had the same problem.

I called the support line at 800-423-2366 and got it to work. I had too many apps opened so there wasn't enough memory for the driver to install. Try  force quitting everything then install the app and the driver. If that doesn't work I called the above 800 number and only waited about 5 minutes to get support.
