I have a Canoscan LidE 300 that was purchased 2 weeks ago, and up until yesterday, I was able to scan to jpg (using the 'Auto Scan' button). But now it will only scan to pdf :-(. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, but the issue is not fixed. How can I fix this? I have Windows 11.

Hi Anonymous,
The format that your LiDE 300 will save a scan can be adjusted in the settings of the IJ Scan Utility.
Open the IJ Scan Utility and click the Settings button in the lower right corner.
In the Settings window, click on Photo Scan on the left side.
On the right side in the middle, click the Data Format drop down box and select JPEG.
Click OK and then click the Photo button on the IJ Scan Utility to scan your image and save it as JPEG.
Additional information can be viewed in the manual, here:
