ProRes 422 or ProRes 422 HQ for the 1DC?

Has anyone done some testing to determine if there is any gain in using the ProRes 422 HQ codec for transcoding the 1DC 4K C-Log footage (over the ProRes 422)?

Importing .MTS files into FCP 10

I just purchased a Canon C-100 and am delighted with the results. However, I need to know how to import the .MTS files into Final Cut Pro-10. I have imported the files to one of my hard drives, but FCP-10 does not recognize them.
