Pixma pro-100 storage

I have a Pixma Pro100 that I will not be able to use and will be unattended for over a month. How can I prepare it so don’t have trouble with printhead clogging?

I often go more than a month without printing and have never had a problem with clogging. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you are really concerned you could remove the cartridges and print head and put them in a sealed Ziploc bag.

Another option would be to dampen a paper towel and put it the front area where the printhead is. Place it in a small dish or a "tray" made of aluminum foil, so it doesn't directly touch any of the printer mechanism.

Dye ink printers are much less likely to experience head clogging.

Thanks for the advice.
