Pixma Pro 200 ink dripping down page and general prints looking terrible

I have the Pixma Pro 200 and I'm attempting to print my art. When I went to print from photoshop this was the result. My print file is 12"x18" and 300dpi. My printer is updated to the newest firmware. I have the settings on photoshop set to Photo Paper Pro Luster and a3+

I would love to know what I can do to fix the issues I am having with m brand new printer.

This problem is frequently caused by printing on the wrong side of the paper.

To check the print side (which should face you when loaded in the printer) wet a finger tip and touch a corner of the paper. Print side will be tacky. Non-print side will also appear very smooth.

Attempting now, I will feel very dumb if this is the solution but also happy if it is fixed

You wouldn't be the first to have the problem. Some papers have logos on the back side; these particular Canon papers do not.
