I just finished a survey regarding tech support for this printer. I was hoping that Canon had updated it's drivers to allow the user to choose photo paper settings for this printer if they wanted to print a photo or photo collage at 12x12. . Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing issue with this printer since it was developed, these angry consumers have been asking for this to be fixed since 2020. The printer advertises it will print 12x12, and it does, BUT ONLY ON CARD STOCK. . This printer WILL NOT let the user choose a photo paper of any type, glossy, matte, or other photo paper settings when choosing a 12x12 paper size in it's settings. . The printer defaults to CARD STOCK. That medium is terrible for any type of printing other than light colors. If a user wants to print a saturated color, they are out of luck. If the user wants to print photos in a collage they are out of luck, it is not possible. There is no "work around" or way's to get the printer to print this size using photo settings.. Interestingly, the printer driver settings will allow 10x12, or 11x14, but not 12x12 !!! So, if a consumer wants a 12x12 print, they cannot do it. Why has this not been fixed? It seems logical that if the drivers allow these sizes to print on glossy, or matte, its a pretty simple fix from Canon to also allow 12x12 photo settings and print using photo paper settings, like borderless, or Canons own photo papers that are 12x12. Canon IS aware of this, but they don't fix it. I purchased this printer to be able to print collages in 12x12, but I am out of luck, it's not possible, unless I am willing to accept an awful print on even the best card stock. This is unacceptable to the consumer that trusts that Canon stands behind it's products. I have a G620 and that printer only prints up to 8.5x11 and the prints are outstanding. The TS 9521C should allow the same type of amazing print that Canon is known for, but they dropped the ball, have no updated the drivers to fix this issue in 6 years. No amount of tech support will fix this KNOWN issue, until Canon pays attention to their consumers and makes a simple software update so we can use the printer as it was intended to print beautiful photos using 12x12 photo paper. I hope that Canon will answer this post, and look through the posts of angry consumers on Reddit, or this site and take care of the problem PLEASE.

I think it may be possible to disable the feed settings mismatch message, which would allow you to print on 12x12 glossy paper:
When you print/copy using the operation panel of the printer or when you print from smartphone/tablet:
The message which prevents misprinting is enabled by default.
To change the setting:

I tried that with tech support, it just defaulted back. We tried everything. Canon tech said she would escalate to the top, but this has been done already and nothing changed. It just is not possible, disabling in the panel I got to a "glossy" 12x12, but printing from all applications, photoshop/publisher, just set it back to the default. If I could print from another source, maybe???? Not sure how to do that, nor how I would even get the photos into the printer, I am not the most tech savy person. I read something about using windows print drivers to put a new category of paper into it but I am not sure how to proceed.

I found a couple of sites that give step by step instructions for adding a new page size, but they look like they use a Windows generic driver not the Canon driver, the add new page option was no where to be seen for my MG3620 printer.

Yes, I found that as well. I am exploring the Easy print app to see if I use that I can get by the driver. I will keep you posted. This would be so simple if Canon would just do their job and add the size that is most commonly used for collages which is 12x12 photo paper.
