PIXMA PRO-10 Black is Faded and Smudged

Brandilabelshop

I bought this printer secondhand. When I bought it, the lady that had it was using non-OEM inks off Amazon. It was only $200 and was still printing ok so I took the risk. I did all the cleanings and seemed to get it back to normal for a couple months. But recently the black prints very faded and with banding and looks “smudged” (see photo). The nozzle check has a weird pattern on the top of the boxes as well but not too bad overall. Any ideas what is causing this?

Did you run a cleaning cycle and repeat the nozzle check?

yes it does! Mainly just having an issue with the way black or anything by with black in it is printing out. Very faded, banding and fuzzy

Are you still using non-Canon inks, or have you switched back?

I switched back
