PIXMA G3260 Computer can't find printer

I have a Pixma 3260 which I didn't use for 2 months. When I returned to it I printed a few pages but none of them were good. The black faded and now nothing prints. When I tried to use the maintenance program it couldn't find the printer. I tried reinstalling the printer using the Canon app but it fails when installing the drivers. I don't under stand why this happened because in the previous installation step the printer was found. I saw in the device manager the printer is listed however it has a default Windows name so i thought it had to change. I searched the forum for the printer not found and found a post that mentioned driver signature enforcement that provided a link to disable the signature enforcement, https://www.isunshare.com/windows-11/how-to-disable-driver-signature-enforcement-on-windows-11.html . There are 4 different way to do this and I've tried every one but none of them work. What can I do?

Is your printer a Pixma G3260, a super tank printer? I think the best way to get this printer printing again is to start from the beginning, so let me ask this important question, what Windows version are you using? Once we know that I think you need to remove the printer and then reinstall it using the very latest drivers for your printer.
