Pixma Pro-10 Not feeding photo paper

svcarter

I have a Canon Pixma Pro 10 and printed a picture a couple of months ago and it worked just fine.  Now I am trying to print a picture with the same type of photo paper in the rear tray and the paper will not feed into the printer.  I have no idea why.  I can't seem to find anything wrong.  Can anyone help me out?  Thank you!

Is it any paper or just the photo paper?

Are you trying to feed single sheet or multiple in tray?

Is printer giving an error message?

I have a Pro-100; sometimes I find that when I place paper in the rear tray the paper doesn't always trigger the paper sensor. Check for anything possibly in the tray, like a paper scrap.

I find my PRO-10 will occasionally not feed 4x6" size -- and only that size (anything bigger has no issues).

To get around it, I just rest my finger on the paper until the printer grabs it and feeds it in.
