PIXMA PRO-100 B200 Error

I purchased this printer brand new, and since I have had this. I have not been able to print. Keep getting B200 error or an error occurred while communicating with the printer. I cannot find anyone to fix this problem. I have rebooted, pulled plugs, and turned them off and on. Cleaned print heads and dusted inside. noting works. I am very frustrated with these companies that make printers and they do not last. I do not want to throw it away, have to much ink to waste like that.

one guy that repairs printers told me to throw it in the trash.   I NEED HELP!!!

What is the printers age?  The error indicates a general hardware failure.  If you cannot resolve it by unplugging and reconnecting to power, the printer will require service. If the printer is still in it's 1 year warranty, you can contact the Canon support team at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666), Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST. You will need to have a copy of the printer's receipt.

If you are outside of the warranty period and do not have CarePak coverage, finding a local repair shop is probably best.  The printer weights about 53 lbs.  It can be expensive to ship.

CarePaks have to be purchased when new or within 30 days of the products purchase.
