I was installing my ink cartridges and one took a little longer. The printer then moved the printhead to the right, with the cap in the up position, JAMMING ITSELF! Now I'm out $1000. This is ridiculous. What do I do now? I've tried the "hard reset" where you unplug it and press the power button 5 times (?), let it sit for 60 seconds. I've tried pressing all the permutations of the 3 buttons on it (power, resume/cancel, wifi). I don't know what else to do. I am printing things for my wedding in a week. I've already spent so much to buy this printer, expecting it to do well. I didn't know it would commit suicide before I even get to use it.

Greetings,
I see 2 options. Take it back to the retailer and exchange it, or call Canon.
