imageCLASS MF753Cdw MF Scan Utility Cannot Communicate with scanner

I'm seeing the same issue with MF753CDW printer. Installed same drivers and scanner version as the rest of the PCs for my client and this desktop is running the most recent version of Windows 11. Getting the same error and can't figure out why.

Add me to the list with this problem.  New Dell laptop and picked up a MF654CDW yesterday.  Deleted and reloaded the SW package a couple of times and checked everything I can think of.  Canon documentation is really poor.  If no answer soon, the printer will go back to Best Buy.

I was thinking the same thing, but it's a great piece of hardware.  In the interim, I'm using the Windows Scan Utility to scan and while not as nice as the Canon software, works.  I'm willing to wait until January because of the extended return period.  I'm hoping for a fix in December.

Update, I loaded the SW including the Scan utility on my wife's Windows 10 machine and found it it works as expected.  So this does point to a Windows 11 issue

Greetings,

You're correct. It's a W11 24H2 issue.  I did escalate it with Canon but I'm afraid it's Microsoft that's going to have to fix this one.

I hope Canon and MS can work to resolve the issue.  I have two Brothers printer / scanners in the household that seem to work fine with WIN 11.
