Problems with Canon Print app and Creative Park seeing PIXMA iX6820

I have used the Creative Park site in the past and printed projects with no problems, but when I tried to print yesterday it was NOT doable!  First, it said I had to download the "Canon Print" app from Microsoft.  I did that, but the app can't see my Pixma iX6820.  We've tried connecting over our home network and by direct USB between my laptop (Windows 10) and the printer, but no luck.  I can print to the printer for other things just fine, but I can't seem to get the Creative Park website to realize I still have a Canon printer.

This hasn't ever been a problem before, though it has been a while since I tried to print anything from Creative Park.  Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?  I've had this printer for years, and I love it, so I'm not going to replace it!

I'm hoping someone here can help me get Creative Park working again,

RJ

I was introduced to Creative Park when I got my PIXMA PRO-10 almost 10 years ago. What a beautiful printer! Creative Park hooked me to paper modeling. Since then, for the next 4-5 years I created several paper models downloaded from Creative Park. Fast forward, the printer still works greats, prints beautifully and now my kids are inspired to wanting to try their hand at paper modeling. Alas, it turns out that my printer isn't recognized by the PRINT app. I feel cheated. Something that was offered for free and sold to me with a printer and now that I'm hooked, it's not even available.

I understand that the decision to put more restriction to the content was done with good intentions. However, the older printers that could previously download premium content should still be supported. If that is not possible, then PDFs should be made available for those users the way they used to be in the past.

I'm very disappointed and sad to be not able to continue with my hobby. Canon should do something about it.

The Canon Print App as well as the Pro-10's support page shows it is supported by the Canon Print App.  Only laser printers and compact photo printers are listed as unsupported.
