PIXMA iX6820 incomplete prints

Hi, I own an ix6820 and I’m having trouble printing. I brought my printer to college and connected it to the specific network that my school has for personal devices such as printers. It has connected and on the first print test it has printed something successfully. On the second print, the printer only printed one inch and then rolled the rest of the blank paper out. I changed the usb adapter and it was fine printing two more images without problems so I thought the problem was solved. However, it is going through the problem again where it’s only printing an inch and then pushing out the paper. On the que it says it’s still “printing” the job/loading. I know this isn’t a blocked ink head as it prints out test papers from the utilities fine with no streaks. It is connected via usb so I’m unsure if this is purely a network problem such as many people using the network. I just downloaded the driver a couple days ago.

Any form of assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Go into printers and scanners and remove the printer and if there is an extra copy of the printer remove that as well. Once the printer is removed, restart your computer and disconnect the usb cord.

After the restart, reinstall the printer driver and select usb connection during the setup. A message will appear asking to connect the usb cord. Once that is done and the printer is reinstalled, please try printing again.
