Over the holidays I "upgraded" from a Windows 10 computer to a new Windows 11 computer. I loaded the latest Canon printer drivers from the Canon website, but now all the "black" in my photos is printed as purple (when I am printing in Photo mode). If I print onto glossy photo paper with "standard" selected, I get black properly printed, but the black ink wipes off very easily. I've run printer maintenance multiple times, deleted the printer drivers and reinstalled, run printer checks, and everything looks good except the photos. BTW, I am running the glossy photo paper from the rear feed tray due to it's stiffness, if that makes a difference.
The old Win 10 computer still prints gorgeous photos, as long as you're willing to wait forever. (~10 year old computer).
Any ideas what's going on???? I'm about ready to return the Win11 new computer and learn new lessons in patience.
