The Canon scan utility works but the problem is that I can't find the finished scans on my computer. A previous Canon printer of another model automatically inserted the scans in "My Image Garden" where I could save them as .pdf files, etc. The Canon Quick Menu is also very "skimpy" compared to many more links opening up on that previous Canon printer.

On the Settings page you can select the destination you want using the Save in option..
